We're just back from exhibiting at our very first Pure London show with some lovely new stockists and great feedback on the airing of our AW prints and also some new Spring additions. Exhibiting at these shows is always a great chance to spot exciting brands (although admittedly this is in stolen minutes away from our own stand!) and we were lucky enough to be opposite one in particular, Ruby and Ed- the go-to label for the most gorgeous slippers and cosy accessories which are now at the top of my wish list! Here is a glimpse of our stand and some brand new prints (top secret until September though) x

Although it seems a thousand years away (apart from the weather) we're already thinking about Autumn in preparation for our debut at Pure London this weekend. Now we don't want to give too much away but couldn't resist giving you a sneak preview of what we'll be introducing come September. A (slightly) belated happy new year to you all! We were lucky enough to sneak away for some post Christmas sunshine so have some serious catching up to do now and we're throwing ourselves in at the deep end with next weekend's opening of Top Drawer 2012 at London's Olympia. To get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate Online Fashion Week we've caught up with one of Fashion's rising stars, David Longshaw to find out how he will be embracing the festive season...
Hi David, after such a busy year launching in Harrods and growing your label, what has been your 2011 highlight?
Appearing in September VOGUE, discovering special offers on diet coke/ red wine, new stores in America (Susan), Japan (Visit For), Harrods buying my collection and both vogue.com and elle.com writing that I'm a designer to watch in 2011.
You've been involved in quite a few collaborations over the past few seasons, who would be your ultimate collaboration for the future?
Diet Coke- I drink a LOT!!! so it would be nice to get something back and if it's good enough for the Kaizer it's good enough for me. Also, Alan Bennett, Grayson Perry (make a dress for him or his muse Alan Measles- or work on whatever he fancied) or Ron Mueck (make a dress for one of his incredible sculptures) or Paula Rego (create something for her costume/ set wise to work from)- they're all geniuses.
The fashion calendar never quite seems to slow down, how will you be unwinding this Christmas?
I'll probably be faffing around with fabric and drawing on Christmas Day...but I'm planning to go to lots of Christmas markets in London, Manchester and Oxfordshire (where Kirsty's parent's live) and I expect I'll be going to see some Rugby or football matches.
We've heard it rumoured that you have a penchant for jam sandwiches, but what's the Christmas tipple in the David Longshaw studio this season?

With 2012 just around the corner, can you give us any tip offs of what we can expect from David Longshaw next year?

Online Fashion Week

All this week we've been taking part in Vogue.com's Online Fashion Week which has been launched as the virtual highlight of the Fashion calendar with prestigious brands from Anya Hindmarch to Lara Bohinc taking part. All in all, we're pretty excited to have been included as one of their retailers and have been running lots of events on our site all week from twitter and facebook competitions to our Online Treasure Hunt in which one lucky winner will win one of our luxury shoulder bags. In addition, 10% of all online proceeds this week will be donated to the Neuroblastoma society.

This Autumn we've fulfilled a longstanding dream and launched a bag collection. Featuring the same signature prints as our scarves, all of our bags are made from premium cotton canvas with real leather trims and retail from £85. Having started off in handbag design, this has been an ambition for a while and hopefully there will be many more collections to come!
Harrods here we come

This year, our collaboration with womenswear designer and illustrator David Longshaw launched in the "Way In" department in possibly one of the most iconic stores in the world, Harrods. We couldn't wait to hot foot it to Knightsbridge and get snappy on the shop floor!x

We're over the moon to see one of our favourite bloggers, Ella La Petite Anglaise, modelling of our Boudoir scarves for her iconic blog. Part-time model and full-time fashionista Ella, pens her Vogue recommended blog in between studying at Central St. Martins and we don't think there is a better validation for our scarves than featuring on her gorgeous blog.

In updating our new site, we've got some catching up to do from the past year. Back in Spring, we showed at our first ever press day and as treat, we had some customized cake pops made. The lovely girls at Pop Bakery fashioned us some delectable rose treats that echoed the prints in our collection- its amazing that any even made it to the press day!
